The beauty of Western Uganda, pictured here as the view from our hotel on Sunday morning.
Looking out to the left, you could see a place where the greenery of Uganda disappeared into a gray mist--the Rift Valley. A faint gray line stretched into the mist beyond, and this line (said Mr. Guthrie) is the Congo.
Spiky banana plantations texturing the hills
A view someone captured of the mountains as seen from the hotel.
(They were too obscured by mist by the time I went out to see them this clearly.)
An unusual place to leave a blue plastic mug!

My welcoming committee  playing with my nail clippers on Sunday morning
Walking through a banana plantation between the church and the pastor's house

Driving back through all the villages...
...And all the green rural hills
A matooke market

An unusual sign in a bathroom in Masaka

The bathroom wall: alive with grasshoppers!

A hidden market we found while investigating the streets of Masaka on Monday
Flooding in Kampala that we drove past on the way home

Thank you, everyone!
And thank You, God.

(And thank you to my teammates who donated their memory cards to help supply these photos!)
